My friend Russel Bordeau ran the NYC ING Marathon today in a little over 4 hours. He's in his 50's, isn't that amazing! Watching those people run with enthusiasm and light hearted fun (dressed up as fairies, vikings, bunnies, etc.) while running the miles was just awesome. Its amazing to me that people can run such a distance with grace and a sense of humor. Russ finished the race not even tired. He couldn't pass people b/c it was too crowded where he was but he did great. He even walked to Port Authority and then took a shower and went out to eat after. I would have been dead to the world after that! People are AMAZING!

I ran into Elise on the ferry going home, she's Hallie's friend who I've met in passing while traveling in and out of the Smith house. Both Hallie and her are just two fun loving girls and I do wish I was more care free like that but lo I'm a wimp when it comes to stuff like that! LOL

OK so I'm sleepy, I was up early this morning to watch Russ run his race and though Id didn't run standing for all those hours is pretty tiring too! LOL TTYS Nina MWAH
